Wait… learning Chinese isn’t already the game?

I mainly use mobile, I can feel myself getting better once I gain mastery of a new set of words but I’ve never completed a course or list, and I’m desperate for that validation and I can barely see progress bar move and only when signed into browser.
Duolingo doesn’t teach me the words nearly as well but at least there’s a series of sections I can hope to finish. Badge to complete the skritter lists? HSK lists? Accomplishment for doing both traditional and simplified? Learning 10 words blind without the the character or pinyin part to help you remember the tone or character or pronunciation?
The community here seems good, maybe add a social aspect to track relative progress? Have a chat with peers doing the same list?
