Error when unable to access server just now

I just went to the web version of Skritter 2.0 beta and got an empty dashboard with a message that the server couldn’t be reached. After hitting the RETRY button the dashboard was populated as expected.

Shortly after I fired up Beta 2.3.5 on my Android phone and got this somewhat less user-friendly dialogue:

On second attempt it all loaded up OK.
