Adding new words too slow with browser plugin

Hello,
I use the ZhongWen browser plugin for chrome.

Whenever I want to add a new word to Skritter through the plugin (e.g. by pressing S as the popup shows), it still redirects me to legacy.skritter.com and waits (!!! this is very undesired) 5 seconds before I can add the word.

So usually, when I read a text and press “S”, I want to immediately add the word to one pre-selected, custom list. Can you do this please? It is really a PAIN in the ass right now :wink:

If I press “S” while a popup is showing, I get redirected to this page: http://legacy.skritter.com/vocab/api/add?from=Zhongwen&siteref=Zhongwen&lang=zh&word=定&trad=定&rdng=ding4&defn=to%20set%3B%20to%20fix%3B%20to%20determine%3B%20to%20decide%3B%20to%20order
Here, I need to wait 5 seconds and waste my time. Please solve this. I don’t even want to be redirected. Just add the damn word. :wink:

While I agree that the waiting is pretty annoying, it’s not really a bug because it’s intended behaviour after all. Maybe they will provide an alternative that adds a word immediatly via their new API, but stuff like this is probably not very high on the priority list.
